To get through the winter, you need warm clothes; to land a job, you need a clean shirt and a razor. That’s why Nochlezhka operates a distribution center where anyone in need can receive clothing, shoes, and hygiene supplies.
Organizing the distribution process is a major undertaking that our volunteers take on. They sort and hang clothes by type and size, and arrange the hygiene items donated to Nochlezhka by local residents. They also enter information into the Night Shelter’s database about when a specific person received a particular item: we keep these records to ensure that free items are distributed fairly among those in need.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our team of volunteers, homeless individuals receive the supplies they need, while staff at the Night Shelter’s Counseling Service have more time and resources to help those in need resolve complex social and legal issues.
Through this project, we distribute clothing, shoes, hygiene products, as well as items donated to us during seasonal drives.
