Studio theater «We»

Why we do it

Studio theater «We» was founded in 2022. Project’s mission is to ruin the stigma of homelessness, change the attitude of the society towards the people in trouble. We help homeless addicts get out the street via trainings, rehearsals, creative parties, performances, communication into the group and with the audience. In the performances we address socially important questions.

How it works

Halfway home’s clients take part in the performances. The project helps people to see themselves with different eyes: believe in themselves, trust other people, learn to be a team-player, develop punctuality and responsibility, broaden the horizons, learn to help each other reciprocally, learn how to express emotions and get the joy of life back. Moreover, a client develop such skills as speech delivery, applying for help, feeling and understanding his/her body, resting and time-management. We attract attention to the homelessness problem through the project.

We invite to the performances helping specialists from civil services and non-profit organizations. Thanks to this we elaborate roadmaps, develop our helping system, building professional community. There is an opportunity to show different people’s lives via performances and separate a person from the trouble.
