Nochlezhka continues presenting a series of charity meetings with the famous people of St. Petersburg. The next meeting is with Yury Molodkovets, one of the leading Russian photographers, an artist-photographer for the state Hermitage museum, a member of the Russian Union of Designers and the Union of Artists.
The topic of the meeting is “Photography today. What to do and who is to blame?” Yury Molodkovets suggests thinking about photography as the language of art and a way to find creative self-realization. He will show his art projects and answer questions.
Yury Molodkovets and Nochlezhka have a long history of fruitful collaboration: in 2012 the photographer and the ad agency Great created Nochlezhka’s social advertisement series Life Under the Open Sky.
“Yury Molodkovets is a famous photographer and a great professional. I am certain that a meeting with him will be interesting to only to photography buffs, but to everyone interested in the cultural events in the city,” - says Grigorii Sverdlin, Nochlezhka director.
A donation for Nochlezhka will be collected at the entrance. All proceedings will go to fund the operations of the shelter for the homeless people.
Nochlezhka will host the charity lectures once a month, on Thursdays. Last time Lev Lurie, a historian, delivered the most interesting lecture on the history of our city. That time Nochlezhka collected 15,780 roubles. This is enough to fund expenses for having two people live in the shelter for a month. A full schedule of lectures will be available shortly.
