Residents of Nochlezhka’s Shelter Told their Life Stories to Visitors of Human Library
In late November two residents of Nochlezhka’s shelter , Sergey Pokrovsky and Victor Sokolov took part in a project called Human Library .
The purpose of Human Library is to deliver the idea that people can be different and this is no excuse for conflicts. The ‘readers’ have a chance to form their own opinion of particular people without any intermediates like mass media or experts. After all, it is though face-to-face communication that dismantles stereotypes.
We admire the courage shown by Sergey and Victor, who agreed to be ‘books’ for us and teach us a lesson of kindness and compassion!
