Tangerines and canned meat

Every year Nochlezhka holds a traditional New Year campaign “Tangerines and canned meat” to collect gifts for homeless. Each gift is a healthy selection of fruits, sweets, canned goods, and personal hygiene items.

Gifts we collect for our clients are utterly practical, all of this gifts content is essential for needy all year round.

On New Year’s Eve these items become very special - each person wants to feel welcome at this beloved childhood holiday.

We hope that this year citizens will also share their warmth with people who lost their homes. It takes little to help. Before the New Year all products are packed into gift baskets and volunteers hand out them to homeless at the Night Bus stops, at Heating Points and at the reception of Counselling Service office.

Once a week Nochlezhka publishes a report on the collected gifts and updates information about products and items that are needed. Report is available at our website and social network accounts.
