Let's act like Petersburgers

Давайте поступать как петербуржцы
In 2017 Nochlezhka released a social ad “Let's act like Petersburgers”. The campaign styled as recognizable city’s social ad posters "Let's Speak Like Petersburgers" encourages citizens to show sympathy to homeless people.

“One can argue for a long time whether there are “ceremonial staircases” or simply “sections of the building” in the cultural capital, but one thing is certain - the attitude of Petersburgers to the language is the most reverent. We at Nochlezhka believe that St. Petersburg is not only about literacy, but also about sympathy, care for one’s neighbours, compassion - this is our strength. Therefore, we encourage citizens to speak and act right, namely not to turn away from those who are in trouble.”, says Grigory Sverdlin, Nochlezhka charitable organization chairman.

“People don't like moralizing. Therefore, we wanted to draw attention to an important problem without undue pressure. The style of these posters suited perfectly: people are accustomed to such a St. Petersburg form of easy education. We just pointed out not the literate speech, but the competent behavior. Then everyone decides for himself what to do.“, says Sergey Filipchenko, copywriter of Great advertising group.

Thanks

The concept and design of the campaign was created pro bono for Nochlezhka by the Great advertising group, longtime partner of the charitable organization. "Let's act like Petersburgers" posters were placed free of charge on the ad sites provided by the Reklama-Center agency and the City Center for advertising.
